So Wiz Khalifa drops a compilation of 9 songs (no mix) and “Cabin Fever” the mixtape is released on the world in a flurry of downloads within hours. There is no doubt Wiz has a grip of fans and it’s good to see him getting the shine he deserves. For those of you who are Khalifa fans – get it downloaded. For those who are not necessarily Wiz fans I would recommend the bonus pack supplied by OnSmash over the mixtape. The 7 “Bonus Tracks” are easily better than the 9 tracks included on “Cabin Fever”.

With that said, I don’t consider “Cabin Fever” a mixtape by any definition. There is no DJ and no mix plus the fact that it only includes 9 songs. A little long to be called an EP and too short to be called an album. Call it a street release or something, but this is not a mixtape by any definition.
