I get a lot of artists tweeting me links to their videos but I RARELY watch the videos and it actually irritates the shit out of me because what is a DJ supposed to do with a youtube video? BUT...If an artist can get their music video posted on a site I trust and do work with like MicrophoneBully.com AND @MicrophoneBully and/or @MBBlog tweet it to me, I will watch it.
With that said (just so you understand how important it is to get the right video to the right people for EFFECTIVE promotion), I hit MicrophoneBully.com to watch the premier of the "R.A.W." video from Darq and was blown away! I won't steal the the hits that MicrophoneBully.com deserves for the premier, but you can peep the trailer of Darq's "R.A.W." video below

After I watched the video I had to hear more from the artist Darq so I hit his twitter @DARQBXKID which led me to his just released project "R.A.W." (available as a free download here). You can check it out for yourself below, but I just wanted to share how excited I was to discover a new artist through effective placement and promotion of a music video (leading to the artist's music actually going in my mixes).
